Feedback notifications

You will get an email sent to your student email address to let you know that your mark and feedback is available.

Deadlines for getting feedback

To find the feedback deadline for a specific assessment:

  1. Go to your ELE Dashboard, or Exams ELE Dashboard
  2. Look under ‘My Assessments’
  3. Select the assessment to see more details.

The University also has a policy for the provision of timely feedback.

If you cannot see an upcoming or past assessment on your dashboard, check that your view is set to ‘All (inc past)’. If you still cannot find it, please select ‘Log your question’ below.

Types of feedback

The type of feedback you receive may vary depending on the assessment:

  • Standard personalised feedback – Found under the ‘Feedback’ section in ELE. This may include written comments or uploaded feedback files.
  • Turnitin (Feedback Studio) feedback – Found under the ‘Your submission status’ section in ELE. Select the blue pencil icon to open your feedback.

You will also see your Provisional grade under the ‘Your submission status’ section.

Your grades are 'provisional' until the summer when the Assessment, Progression and Awarding Committees (APACs) meet. Their role is to review marks across modules and year groups to ensure they're fair.
